THE CHARTER DECISION
Build the mission around your route
The G800 belongs on the shortlist when the aim is to preserve a nonstop option on a very long journey. Its published range provides a useful starting point for a conversation with the charter desk. It is not a promise that a particular flight will operate nonstop: the aircraft’s payload, the winds on the day and the departure airport all affect that decision.
MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS
Gulfstream G800 at a glance
Range figures are Gulfstream’s theoretical NBAA IFR figures with eight passengers, four crew and NBAA IFR reserves at the stated speed. Actual range varies with routing, weather, speed, outfitting and other factors. Maximum seating and sleeping figures describe possible configurations; confirm the specific aircraft’s layout. Maximum operating speed is a limit, not the speed assumed for maximum range.

Make a long flight work for everyone
For a long overnight trip, evaluate rest for both passengers and crew. A dedicated crew compartment may change how the cabin is divided, while the passenger layout determines who can sleep at the same time. Give the charter desk your preferred arrival time and whether a fuel stop is acceptable. That helps the carrier evaluate the mission before you compare proposals.
Ask for the actual cabin details
- Seating and beds available to your group simultaneously
- Current interior photographs and a labeled floor plan
- Wi-Fi coverage, provider and any usage charges
- Baggage loading dimensions for your largest items
- Galley, lavatory and crew-rest arrangements
G700 OR G800?
Cabin priorities meet range priorities
Start with the G800 when additional range is the deciding factor. Its published maximum is 450 nautical miles above the G700’s. If several separate cabin spaces matter more to your group, compare the G700’s larger number of potential living areas. More published range does not automatically mean a shorter door-to-door trip or a lower charter price.

What goes into your charter proposal?
Aircraft location
A suitable aircraft near your departure airport can produce a very different quote from one that needs a long positioning flight. Share flexible departure times and acceptable airport alternatives.
The full itinerary
Include every sector, passenger count and baggage requirement. Return dates, waiting time and crew arrangements influence the operating plan and the total price.
Terms and recovery
Compare the proposed aircraft, all included charges, cancellation terms and the response to maintenance or weather disruption. Confirm how any aircraft substitution would be handled.
There is no universal Gulfstream G800 charter price that applies to every mission. Request a dated, itinerary-specific proposal and use our charter pricing guide to compare what is included.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you request a Gulfstream G800
Can I book this exact model?
You can request it. EWA must confirm availability with an appropriate operating carrier for your dates and itinerary before offering a confirmed option. If the model is unavailable, ask for alternatives that meet your cabin and route requirements.
Does the published range guarantee a nonstop flight?
No. Ask the operating carrier for a mission-specific assessment using the proposed aircraft, passengers, baggage, forecast conditions and required reserves. Discuss the plan if a technical stop becomes necessary.
Are all interiors the same?
No. Compare current photographs and a floor plan for the aircraft being proposed. A model’s maximum seating figure should never replace the confirmed passenger capacity of that aircraft.
What should I send with my inquiry?
Departure and arrival airports or addresses, dates, preferred times, passenger count, baggage details and any accessibility or sleeping requirements. Tell us whether the model itself is essential or whether another suitable aircraft can be considered.
